Happy Independence Day

Hello and Happy 4th of July! I hope you are having a nice day! I spent a little time cleaning, and a little time in my craft room today. This evening we are going down the street for a traditional family gathering. I found what looks to be a tasty Feta Dip on Pinterest I will be making to bring.
While I had a little extra time in my craft room today, I decided to whip up a little card to honor today. I cannot take 100% credit for the idea for this card. I remember maybe last year? seeing Amber from Damask Love using her Botanical Silhouettes dandelion flowers to make fireworks, so I decided to give it a whirl, since I have no actual fireworks stamps.

Papertrey Ink's 5th Anniversary Day 1

Hello! Today is day 1 of Papertrey Ink's 5th Anniversary festivities! We were asked to pick one of the designers favorite cards and make our own based on inspiration from their cards. I chose the card(s) Betsy picked as her favorite. I remember when she posted those originally, and always loved them and had been wanted to recreate them, anyway! So, this is what I did with her cards in mind:
