Hello to all my crafty friends! I'd like to start off by giving a big warm welcome to some new friends that have joined recently! I love new friends and hope you enjoy some of what I share with you here!
Well, I was MIA for over a week! I recently joined a card swap with the very sweet and talented Flowerdisco. Anyway, we have to make 16 cards. One for any occasion in each month, then a few others. So, I've been busy coming up with cards for that. Now, some people can whip up 16 cards in an afternoon. For me, this is a challenge. Especially when the recipients are all so brilliant! I just hope that my cards will be comparable, ya know? And, I decided to wait to share them on my blog until after they've been swapped. And of course I'll be sharing the cards that I receive from the other participants!Anyhoo, other than that, over the weekend I was asked by one of the owners of The Jewel Shoppe, where my husband works, to make some little gift cards that she can attach to the custom pieces that go out. Well, their store color is purple, and their logo (I guess is what you'd call it) is a little snow flake (for their last name) with a diamond in the center. So based on that, this is the idea I came up with:
Oh, and did you watch HSN last night? How awesome is this partnership between Provo Craft and Martha Stewart!?!? I know I want those cake carts for all those wonderful borders!
I hope you have a crafty week!
XOXO,
Jess
