Anyway, on to my card! My friend and co-worker asked me to make a card for her niece, who is turning 12 tomorrow. So, I thought it would be a good excuse to give a Spinner card a try!
It really spins well using the coasters that PTI sells! I also cut the big butterfly with a coaster, and gave him a couple layers of a smaller butterfly cut out of vellum, and embossed in polka dots, and the assembled butterfly was misted with Studio Calico Shine, to give it some sparkle. It was a lot of fun to put together and I definitely need more stamps that will work well for 'spinning'!
I snapped this picture quickly this morning, so I didn't get a chance to capture the inside which says, "a birthday that's as special as you".
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

LOVE this. I don't know why I never thought of the spinner with a butterfly. Duh--I've been doing everything else with them. This is so colorful and fun, and, as the mom of a 12 year old, I know it will be perfect. I like how you made your butterfly, too. Embossed vellum--genius.
